SSG Prom 2007, Le Tapis Rouge



I noe it's already been 6 days (WOW! A week already! Time really do flies when your having fun!) since the prom and i'm a little late but hey! Better late then never cos this prom is definitely worth blogging!!


Prom Preparations:

Me..

Since the prom was at 7pm, i had lots of time to prepare. I just played computer games wit my bros till about 5-ish then showered, then got dressed and finally left the house at 6. (I still got there 30mins late cos my driver didn't know the way tho)


Guys..

Probably about the same as me...Wake up late, laze about till 5, get cleaned up, dress up then leave.. some might even have gone to dye their hair...still, they should be done in under an hour.

The Result:

Hey! Darren Lam! The Best Dressed Male for Le Tapis Rouge! Not bad..wonder how long he took to prepare? 1hr?
Anyway, in my opinion, most of the guys look quite lame (sry Darren) when compared to the girls in their stunning dresses. Every guy was dressed in black. Except for Qayyum. Still some of us did look quite cool like Darren and Melcolm, and maybe even Cho Sek.

Girls..

They wake up real early, cos they have to go to shower, do their nails, do their hair, glam up their face, don their dress, check themselves, don't like what they see, redo everything, recheck themselves, prefer their previous look, re-redo themselves again and finally leave the house at 6..wait i forgot to mention accessories..nvr mind just add 2 or 3 more hrs..

(this account is obviously an exaggerated fictional account of how a girl prepares for her prom and i'm sure that not all girls are such perfectionist right?..right?)

The Result:

For ppl who don't recognise who this is, she's Ming Yi. Seriously. Yeah, that's right. The one from 5Sc1.

She looks soo..different. No wonder she won the Most Dynamic Female award..

    Im sure u had helluva good time with Rita heh?

    Coming to think of it, u sure do speak ever so slowly which makes me quite infuriated sometimes. But i guess when compared to u, i am a more reckless person. U are the calmer one.

    a little tip: many girls go to pros to do their make-up for them. not many have the patience to do it themselves for something as /important/ as prom, lol.

    it's so different to see you with a girl literally hanging off your arm tho =) my little bro's all grown up! Way more grown up than me!-weili
